November 14-16 saw the 2025 BSK Basketball Championship South China Regional Tournament ignite at Lihe Plaza in Jiangmen. Twelve powerhouse teams from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macau, and beyond converged in Jiangmen for intense competition, delivering 16 thrilling matchups in rapid succession. World Slam Dunk Champion Chen Dengxing graced the event with his presence. Ultimately, the Xia Bu Yanyi team emerged victorious, claiming the championship trophy of the 2025 BSK South China Regional Tournament.
Day 1

The tournament will feature 12 teams drawn into four groups for competition. Groupings are as follows: Group A: Dongguan Yazi Hotel, Guangdong Dashi Law Firm, Zhongshunying Steel Industry; Group B: Air Airball Arena, CMTTC Hong Kong 21 Youth Association, Guangdong Dongcha Dao; Group C: Beixin Law Firm, Lanqing, Xia Bu Yilai. Group D comprises Guangzhou Jiangchen Hardware, Yuesheng Sports Star Cano, and Zhigao Spark. Under the tournament format, the top team from each of Groups A, B, C, and D advances directly to the semifinals. On November 14, the group stage commenced. Dongguan Yazi Hotel, Guangdong Dongcha Dao, Xia Bu Zai Li, and Zhigao Spark all secured opening-day victories after intense battles against their opponents. The most closely watched match was between Xia Bu Zai Li and Bixin Law Firm. Bixin's Yu Dasen scored 26 points, but Xia Bu Zai Li clinched a hard-fought victory thanks to Lu Jiaxing's golden-point shot in overtime.




Day 2


On November 15, the group stage entered its final phase, with thrilling matches reigniting the excitement! A total of 8 contests unfolded that day, as 12 teams gave their all to secure top spots in their groups and clinch qualification, charging toward victory. Dash Stone Law Firm, Frozen Tea Way, Summer Exception, and Smart Spark all secured decisive 2-0 victories over their opponents. With perfect records over the two group stage days, these four teams advanced to the semifinals on Day 3 as group winners. Additionally, Zhuhai Air, Heartbeat Law Firm, and Guangzhou Jiangchen Hardware also claimed wins on the day. However, finishing second in their respective groups, they unfortunately missed out on the subsequent rounds.



Day 3

Tonight's Finals Night kicks off with the semifinal showdown: Da Shi Law Firm vs. Zhigao Spark. In the first quarter, Da Shi Law Firm edged out Zhigao Spark by three points to claim the opening set. Their victory was fueled by consistent offensive contributions from Zhang Zhanwei, Song Zhonghua, and Sun Wei, complemented by Xie Wei's precise playmaking that orchestrated the team's efforts. In the second game, Zhi Gao Spark's Wu Zesen carried his hot streak from the previous match, dominating offensively with 20 points. However, Da Shi Law Firm maintained control through seamless teamwork, securing a decisive 2-0 victory to advance to the finals.

The other semifinal matchup pitted Xia Bu Zai Li against Guangdong Dong Cha Dao. From the opening tip, the teams battled fiercely, locked in a tight offensive and defensive stalemate. Guangdong Dong Cha Dao dominated the paint with Feng Haoran and Zhong Guodong anchoring the interior, while Zhang Zhiqian threatened from the perimeter, creating dynamic inside-outside connections. For Xia Bu Zai Li, Qi Yudong and Lin Siyang were on fire, frequently hitting three-pointers. The score seesawed back and forth as both teams stayed neck-and-neck. With 6 seconds left in the final quarter, Zhang Zhiqian received a brilliant pass from a teammate and decisively sank the shot. The first quarter ended with both teams tied at 27, each earning 0.5 points. The second quarter remained fiercely contested. Lin Siyang and Qi Yudong opened with two consecutive three-pointers, helping Xia Bu Shi Lai quickly establish momentum and gain a slight edge. Despite Zhang Zhuo leading Guangdong Dong Cha Dao in relentless pursuit, Xia Bu Shi Lai maintained steady control, firmly holding their lead. Ultimately, they defeated Guangdong Dong Cha Dao 30-21 to advance to the finals.

During halftime, the Slam Dunk Contest ignited the crowd! World Slam Dunk Champion Chen Dengxing made a surprise appearance, not only cheering on the contestants but also taking center stage to showcase his signature slam dunk moves, setting the arena ablaze. Five dunkers—Zhang Dingyan, Qi Yuhao, Zhang Weicheng, Zhou Rongfeng, and Wan Xu—competed side by side, taking turns showcasing their signature moves. Each soaring slam dunk wowed the crowd, drawing thunderous applause and waves of cheers from the stands. Ultimately, Zhang Dingyan secured the South China Regional Slam Dunk Championship title with a flawless, perfect-score performance, firmly claiming the honor.


The final kicked off with Guangdong Dashi Law Firm quickly establishing a lead through consecutive scores by Song Zhonghua and Zhang Zhanwei. Xia Bu Yilai refused to back down, as Lin Siyang, Zhang Zhixin, and Li Guoqing hit crucial shots to seize the lead. The game then entered a tight battle, with the score seesawing back and forth. With 2.4 seconds left in the first quarter, Xia Bu Zai Lv Ye trailed by two points. Li Xin made a quick shot under the basket to tie the game at 28-28, keeping the suspense alive.
The second quarter began with Song Zhonghua hitting a three-pointer and Sun Wei adding two points, giving Dashi Law Firm a dream start with a 7-0 run. At a critical juncture, Tian Zhongtian scored consecutively to lead Xia Bu Zai Li to a 7-7 tie. Lin Siyang then kept the momentum going, and Lu Jiaxing hit a three-pointer, propelling Xia Bu Zai Li to a 6-point lead. Song Zhonghua hit a three-pointer to keep Da Shi Law Firm alive, narrowing the gap to just one point. Immediately after, Da Shi's No. 3 player hit a three-pointer to regain the lead. Lin Siyang responded with a basket, and the lead changed hands again. With 17 seconds left, Lin Siyang sank both free throws to give Xia Bu Shi Lai a 3-point lead. Facing elimination, Dashi Law Firm launched a three-pointer with 0.02 seconds remaining, drawing a foul on Lin Siyang. Tragically, the crucial second free throw missed, denying the equalizer. Ultimately, Xia Bu Shi Lai withstood the pressure to clinch the championship title!
