Ultimately, the Yida Early Morning Dairy Team claimed the 2025 BSK Central China Regional Championship title through an outstanding performance.

The opening day (October 6) coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival, where all eight teams made their debut appearances. Instead of reuniting with family, players stood shoulder-to-shoulder with their teammates, celebrating the holiday together with basketball as their “reunion gift.” On the court, players from every team were eager and fired up, all hoping to secure an opening victory for their squad. Fierce battles and seamless teamwork kept the atmosphere heating up. Ultimately, the Well-Prepared Team, the Chiao Team, the Early Morning Dairy Team, and the Tianzhu Pipe Industry Team all secured their first wins, advancing to the second day of competition.

October 7 marked the second day of competition, with eight teams continuing their battle for the final four spots. The intensity on the court escalated compared to the opening day. In the first match, the Chi'ao Team defeated the “Well-Prepared” Team 2-0, securing the first semifinal berth. The second match—Early Bird Dairy vs. Tianzhu Pipe Industry—was billed as the “ultimate showdown” in Changsha's amateur basketball scene. Both teams featured local standouts like Liu Jian, Chen Xiaolong, Lu Jianing, and Liu Yutao, resulting in an exceptionally tight contest where every point was fiercely contested. Early Bird Dairy ultimately prevailed with a decisive 2-0 victory to advance to the semifinals. In the subsequent two pivotal matches (Guangying Holdings vs. Tianzhu Pipe Industry and Ganzhao Basketball Club vs. “Well-Prepared”), all four teams entered with 1 win and 1 loss, launching all-out efforts to secure the final two semifinal spots. After multiple rounds of intense competition, Tianzhu Pipe Industry and Ganzhao Basketball Club ultimately broke through the field, advancing together to the semifinals.

The first semifinal match featured a “Hunan Derby” as Tianzhu Pipe Industry faced off against Yidaozhao Dairy once again, with both local teams locked in a fierce battle. Both sides opened with tight defense, neither breaking through the other's lines to score for an extended period. Tianzhuo Pipe Industry gained a slight early lead thanks to Liu Jian's steady performance. However, Yidaozhao Dairy players quickly adjusted their game, intensifying their offensive pressure while closing the gap. They soon surged ahead by 5 points and ultimately secured the first set. The second semifinal match pitted the Chi'ao Team against the Ganzhao Basketball Club. In the opening stages, the lead changed hands repeatedly as neither side could establish a significant advantage. Subsequently, the Ganzhao Basketball Club capitalized on consecutive scoring runs and more cohesive teamwork to stretch their lead to 11 points, ultimately securing the first set. In the second game, Chi'ao quickly regained their composure, launching a 10-0 offensive surge right from the start. They maintained firm control of the game thereafter, successfully tying the series at 1-1. The match once again entered the golden point period. During golden point time, Chi'ao secured possession and immediately launched an attack. Ma Xiaoqi delivered as expected, sinking the golden point shot to propel his team into the finals.

The championship showdown between Early Morning Dairy and Chiao Team kicked off early in the morning. Right from the opening tip, Ma Xiaoqi carried his stellar form from the previous game, scoring 5 points immediately for Chiao Team to secure a dream start. However, Early Morning Dairy quickly adjusted their rhythm, swiftly tying the score with more aggressive offense and defense. Chiao Team then maintained their offensive pressure, briefly taking control of the game; while Chen Shuang and Li Zhanglin led Early Morning Dairy in relentless pursuit. The final moments reached a fever pitch—with 7.4 seconds remaining, Early Morning Dairy held a 2-point lead; Chi'ao narrowed the gap to 1 point via a made free throw. In the critical moment, Ma Xiaoqi's driving layup attempt missed, and Yidaozhao Dairy narrowly won the first quarter 31-29.

In the second quarter, both teams significantly ramped up their defensive intensity, keeping the score tightly contested. Chen Xiaolong opened the scoring for Early Morning Dairy with consecutive baskets, but the Chiao Team immediately answered with a three-pointer. Early Morning Dairy then ignited an offensive surge, with Li Zhanglin, Chen Shuang, Liu Yutao, and Chen Xiaolong scoring repeatedly to gradually extend the lead into double digits. In the closing moments, Wang Xinlei of Yidaozhao Dairy sank a two-pointer to seal the deal. Ultimately, Yidaozhao Dairy defeated Chi'ao 2-0 to claim the 2025 BSK Central China Regional Championship title.
