In order to consolidate the basic skills of young players, Guangdong Career Basketball Club conducted a special training open class on March 20 at the training base. The special training course was coached by Zhou Gang, the chief basketball trainer of Career Sports, and six players of Guangdong Career Youth Team were given special training on three-player basketball.

The trainees are all from the core lineup of Shenzhen No.2 Experimental School Varsity Basketball Team and have participated in several training sessions of the club before. During the nearly two hours of intensive training, the trainees maintained a high degree of concentration throughout the course and actively implemented the technical essentials of the coach, showing good professionalism.

The course focuses on the core skills of three-player basketball, setting up special modules such as pass-and-receive running, pass-and-receive layup and pass-and-receive shooting, and two-player tactical coordination, strengthening the stability of players' basic movements through high-intensity cyclic training.

The training coach Zhou also mentioned the problem of this group of players in the training session, “everyone's physical quality is particularly good, but the basic skills still need to be improved, so in the training will also be to polish their basic skills, the basic movements to do a good job in order to better up to improve.”

With deep two solid “team soul” called Chen Hao also participated in this training, he said to career club training and the usual varsity training has a different enhancement.

“Varsity training focuses more on team offense and defense system construction, while the career club training focuses on individual technical sculpture. Especially in the movement detail control and training refinement degree, give me a new dimension to improve.”
