Dear fans, members of the media, and everyone who supports the Guangdong Career Basketball Club:

Following amicable discussions between our club, the relevant clubs, and the players themselves, and in respect of the players’ personal wishes, Zhou Jiahao, Gao Yufeng, Lin Siyang, and JD Miller have officially left the team to embark on new chapters in their careers. The club would like to extend its sincere gratitude and best wishes to these four players, and also express its heartfelt thanks to the fans who have supported the team throughout.

During their time with the club, these four players gave their all and fought with determination, helping the team achieve steady progress: they advanced to seventh place in the 2023 season, set a new best record by finishing fifth in the 2024 season, and in 2025, not only brought the team its first Super 3 League Championship title but also reached the Super 3 League National Finals and claimed the runner-up spot—setting a new team record. Among them, Gao Yufeng joined the Guangxi team in 2022, Zhou Jiahao joined the Guangxi team in 2023, Lin Siyang joined the Guangdong team during the July 2024 transfer window, and JD Miller joined the Guangdong team in 2024. Through their hard work, they laid the foundation for the team and left behind cherished memories.

After amicable discussions with the four players, taking their individual career plans into account, the club has reached a mutual agreement regarding their departures: Zhou Jiahao has joined the Shanghai Jiushi Basketball Club; Lin Siyang has signed with the Ningbo Jieying Basketball Club; Gao Yufeng is temporarily stepping away from the Super 3 League due to scheduling conflicts with the Guangdong BA; and JD Miller signed with a South American national team in January of this year to return to five-on-five competition.

We would like to thank these four players for every drop of sweat they’ve poured into their careers with Guangdong. You are not only warriors on the court, but also brothers in this big family, and the club will continue to follow your growth. At the same time, we’d like to once again thank our fans for your companionship and support; your encouragement is the team’s greatest source of motivation.

We wish these four players a safe and successful career ahead, with a bright future that allows them to shine on their new stage. Moving forward, the Guangdong team will continue to forge ahead, refining our roster and enhancing our capabilities to live up to everyone’s trust and expectations.
