Guangdong Career defeated Shanghai Hengsha Yumin, fielding a national team lineup, with a score of 22-20 in the final, claiming the championship title.

This marks the club's second championship in this season's Super Three League and its first-ever championship in the league's championship tournament. As widely recognized, the championship tournament represents the pinnacle of competition, featuring all 19 Super Three League teams battling head-to-head for supremacy—its prestige is undeniable. This honor not only serves as a powerful testament to the team's strength but also carries profound significance, sure to inspire every supporter of the club!

Championship glory is never handed out on a silver platter. Every member of the team deeply understands the hard-won nature of this honor—each player carried some degree of injury throughout the tournament, yet they gritted their teeth and persevered to complete the entire championship journey.
In the group stage, Guangdong Career defeated Huzhou Suzaku Rockets in their opening match but suffered a narrow 17-22 loss to Shanghai Hengsha Yumin in their second game. On the second day of competition, the team quickly regrouped, securing consecutive victories over Wuxi Wenlv Huishan and Guizhou Guiyang Aofu to advance smoothly into the knockout stage.

The third day of elimination matches proved to be a series of grueling battles: In the quarterfinals against longtime rivals Beijing Holdings, both teams fought fiercely until the final moment. Guangdong Career narrowly edged out their opponents 20-19 to advance to the semifinals. In the semifinals against Zhejiang Deqing Pulei, Miller and “Duck” took turns driving the offense, with the entire team pushing themselves to the limit on both ends of the court. They ultimately prevailed with a 22-19 victory, securing their spot in the championship game.

At a critical juncture, Guangdong Career broke the offensive deadlock: Led by Zhou Jiahao, the team unleashed an 8-2 scoring surge, extending the lead to 12-6 and establishing a six-point advantage. However, as last season's champions, Shanghai Hengsha Yumin refused to go down without a fight. Trailing behind, they continuously adjusted their tactics, launching wave after wave of counterattacks. With less than a minute remaining, they tied the score at 20-20, instantly electrifying the arena.

In the clutch, Miller stepped up—he took the shot from beyond the arc with unwavering confidence and sank it! Ultimately, the Guangdong Career Team sealed the victory with a score of 22-20, clinching their first-ever championship title in the league!
This honor belongs not only to the players battling on the court. It is inseparable from the quiet support and wholehearted dedication of every staff member at the club. It is precisely because everyone shared the same vision, channeled their efforts in the same direction, and worked together that this hard-earned championship medal was won.
This championship undoubtedly boosts the team's confidence and resolve. Yet we remain acutely aware that compared to the league's powerhouses, we still face significant gaps in accumulated depth and major tournament experience. With a tight schedule, heavy responsibilities, and fierce competition ahead, the team must stay grounded and deliver in every match to firmly grasp our advancement opportunities.

Believe in every step of the solid journey,
and believe in every drop of sweat shed.
Guangdong's journey continues—keep pushing forward!
